In every business, from the largest to the smallest, things go wrong from time to time.

If nothing ever went wrong — there wouldn’t be a need for a customer service department — because customers would never have a reason to call. But customers from time to time need help. Sometimes it’s for something we could have done a little better, but most of the time it is because life isn’t perfect. Whether it’s a crime in progress, hurricanes devastating the gulf coast, or just a little light blinking on their keypad for no apparent reason... our customers call us, and we do everything we can — no matter how big or small — to assist them. Occasionally, our customers will take the time to thank us for our help and we appreciate this very much. We would like to thank all of our customers for giving us the opportunity to serve them everyday. They help to make us better people as we help them to live a better life.

Hi Melissa D. [our Customer Service Manager],

When I receive EXCELLENT customer service, I always feel compelled to write to the supervisor of the individual who helped me. A customer service department is available in pretty much all major organizations. The customer service department that sets that organization apart from any other is dependent, of course, on its team members. You have a team member that sets your department apart from any other organization and that team member's name is Tina L. [our Assistant Customer Service Supervisor].

I have been trying to get opening and closing reports for our company since December 2005 (that's when we signed the contract). For whatever reason, we were "missed" as our local rep put it... I actually decided to call customer service (not our rep) and follow up and come to find out, nothing was set up... Tina answered my call and has been very helpful. As I write this email, I still have not been set up to receive the reports... but Tina has been so professional, courteous, and overall, an angel to deal with that I felt compelled to write to you. Thank you for employing Tina. Even if it's only her that is as helpful, your customer service department has got a gold mine! Thank you and thank Tina for excellent customer service!

Well, we FINALLY got our system programmed so that we may get monthly opening and closing reports... I have to tell you something though that is SO rare. Do you think that Tina L.
