Billing Coordinator - Interface Security Systems, Earth City, MO

SUMMARY
The Billing Coordinator performs various functions to assist in the billing process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the billing process by reviewing electronic customer files and pulling contracts to verify installation price and recurring revenue amounts to prepare bill.
  • Verify customer billing information in Navision and make any changes such as name, phone number or billing address.
  • Post credits to correct any billing errors, process equipment returns or credit services for a promotional program.
  • Perform accounts receivable duties as related to billing or customer payments or cash posting as required.
  • Perform other services as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Previous experience relating to automated billing of 2-4 years.

SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Experience utilizing a customer database preferably in a Windows environment.
  • Extremely detailed and organized.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel, along with strong math skills. (Must enjoy working with numbers.)

While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to sit in an office environment. Employee is frequently required to talk or hear to interact with employees/customers. Employee is frequently required to use the telephone. Employee will frequently use a personal computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand, crouch, kneel, climb or crawl to maintain files. The employee must frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds that could include company materials, files and small equipment. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus in order to view reports, computer screen, forms and operating manuals.
