Service Coordinator/Dispatcher - Hawk Security, Dallas-Ft.Worth, TX

SUMMARY
Perform dispatching and administrative duties to receive, screen, record, prioritize, assign, and close customer request for technical service support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive customer calls in a professional manner, obtaining information required to competently dispatch calls and assign requests to appropriate Technicians.
  • Coordinate appointments between Technician and customers.
  • Coordinate and prioritize service calls ensuring timely response to customer requests. Perform periodic follow-up, alert Technician and Manager (or Technician Supervisor) of any potential issues.
  • Notify Technician of changes in schedule.
  • Close service calls through Dice.
  • Review A/R status of customers ensuring account is current.
  • Provide office support such as completing billing procedures, filing, inventory, warranty, order entry and maintenance contracts.
  • Coordinate with all of the office staff and interact with Regional, Operations and Installation Managers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Previous dispatching or customer service experience. At least two years.

SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to sit in an office environment. Employee is frequently required to talk or hear to interact with employees/customers. Employee is frequently required to use the telephone. Employee will frequently use a personal computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand, crouch, kneel, climb or crawl to maintain files. The employee must frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds that could include company materials, files and small equipment. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus in order to view reports, computer screen, forms and operating manuals.
