SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE – A minimum of two years experience as a successful residential sales representative; demonstrated by the consistent ability to exceed quota. SKILLS and ABILITIES – Possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, strong communication skills and the ability to problem solve and be sensitive to customer needs. Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales proposals, pricing books and procedure manuals. Ability to write proposals, reports and correspondence. Ability to use general math to be able to prepare bids, calculate pricing and recurring revenue. OTHER REQUIREMENTS – Valid drivers license with clean driving record and background check. Ability to obtain security industry license as required by states in which sales will be made. Ability to work a full-time schedule and available for local travel. Results driven and self-motivated. PHYSICAL DEMANDS – The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to sit while driving, preparing proposals and talking with customers. Employee is frequently required to talk or hear to interact with employees/customers. The employee is occasionally required to stand, crouch, kneel, climb or crawl to examine the customer’s property or building. The employee must frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds that could include sales materials and small equipment for demonstrations. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus in order to view reports, equipment instructions and operating manuals. WORK ENVIRONMENT – The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work is performed indoors in a fluorescent lit workspace at the employer’s office. Employee is also required to work at multiple customer sites that can include work outdoors to inspect customer’s property and building.
